ABOUT THE ROLE

For this role you will draw on your, and the teams, experience of delivering change within the Banking Industry in Germany.

Therefore, you:  

  • Work in a high performing team that delivers excellent results for their clients.

  • Drive and deliver business transformation assignments with our clients.
  • Manage all aspects of a client project, including relationships with various stakeholders.

  • Drive business development initiatives with your strong network in the German Financial Services Industry.
  • Develop your leadership style, leveraging your own passion, strengths, and personal values.
  • Participate in strategy development and implementation to expand our firm.
  • Enrich the current customer base of FiSer Consulting by attracting new business.
  • Develop partnerships by engaging technology suppliers to ensure delivery of strategic initiatives.

ABOUT YOU

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled individual who is eager to contribute their expertise to our team’s success.
 
Therefore, you have:
 
  • A masters degree.
  • Experience as project manager with managing your own projects at a client maintaining the right balance between timelines, scope and budget.
  • Working experience at a consulting firm.
  • +5 years of experience within the Financial Services Industry and mainly Banking, for example at a bank or a consultancy firm.
  • Excellent understanding and experience with the functions and domains of a bank (e.g., Finance, Financial and non-Financial Risk Management, Risk Modelling, Payments, Operations, IT).
  • Deep knowledge of the banking industry and the most impactful (technological) trends and regulations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management on client projects and a network within the German Financial Services Industry.
  • A track record of consistently delivering high-impact results to meet clients’ needs.
  • Trust-based relationships with clients to better serve their organization.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • The capacity to break down and solve problems through quantitative thinking and analysis.
  • The ability to work in and lead an international team and create an inclusive environment with people at all levels of an organization.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A collaborative, team player, problem solver, and delivery focused spirit.
  • Professional German and English communication skills, both written and verbal. 
  • Candidates must have the legal right to work in Germany.

WE OFFER

  • A competitive salary depending on your experience and capabilities, along with a yearly bonus (ranging from 0 – 15% of your annual pay, depending on your and the company’s performance).
  • A holiday entitlement of 25 days a year. The entitlement is increased based on the number of years of service with 1 day after 2 years, another 1 day after 3 years and another 3 days after 5 years of service. Furthermore, you are entitled to 1 additional Diversity Day.
  • Possibility to buy a maximum of 10 additional days per calendar year.
  • A company laptop and an expense allowance including phone cost reimbursement, working from home reimbursement, and full flexibility on business traveling such as a first class business card and a mileage reimbursement.
  • Commission from your contribution to FiSer, via referrals and sales bonuses.
  • If the client’s project permits, the opportunity to work from home, with the client, or from our upcoming location in Germany as FiSer is excited to announce plans for a new office there.
