  FiSer Consulting has turned an important page in its short history: Fiser celebrated its 5th anniversary on the 1st of April 2020! Since 2015, we have been busy in establishing a solid brand in the Dutch financial services industry. We look back on the past years and establish that we have been able to build a solid consulting business in the Netherlands. More importantly, we look towards the future and hope that we can to continue this journey together with the people we like to work with, both on the client side as well as with our own FiSer colleagues. We hope that we will continue to have the confidence of our clients to to assure delivery of complex business transformation that will help shape the financial services industry in the coming years. Although we really wanted to celebrate this with all our key clients and dear team members, Corona lock down prevented such celebration, however we will ensure that with the next opportunity we will still take the time to celebrate this joyful event.

FiSer Consulting is one of the winners of the 2019 FD Gazellen Awards! Last night the prizes where presented and FiSer was one of the 300+ companies in North NL Region. What a great recognition of the achievements of FiSer Consulting so far. Now on to next year and see if FiSer again be amongst the Gazelle winners.

On Saturday October 5th, a team of FiSer consultants have joined the ‘11Strandentocht’ by walking 11 kilometers from Kijkduin to Hoek van Holland. The 11Strandentocht is a walking and running event of ‘De Nederlandse Hartstichting’ where you walk along the Dutch coastline in one day. By joining this walk FiSer Consulting and their sponsors have contributed to the research and resolution of cardiovascular diseases. FiSer Consulting would like to express their gratitude to the people that have sponsored and the walkers! Together we have raised the sum of € 666 !!

We have added a new member to the FiSer team Adina Pop. Adina is an all–round business leader with over 16 years of experience in business operations, financial management and business transformation. She is highly skilled in strategy development and implementation with outstanding achievements in driving change, customer centricity, process efficiency and people growth. Her experience is gained in international, complex business settings (financial industry, hospitality, luxury goods, governmental affairs). Adina is culturally sensitive and experienced in multilayered stakeholders management. She holds an Executive MBA degree from a leading business school and she is passionately triggered by the digital revolution and how to respond to innovative, disruptive and fast moving experiences.

We have added a new member to the FiSer team Martijn van der Zwan. Martijn is a seasoned Project Manager with over 15 years of experience working at ABN AMRO where he designed, implemented and migrated change to new organizational structures. He has gained his knowledge by running various projects in the fields of Payments & Cash Management, Trade Finance, Asset Management and Global Client Services and its Operations. As a service and quality oriented individual, he makes sure that assignments and operations are finished accordingly and in a timely manner.

In the first week of October, FiSer Consulting hosted its first annual team trip! The FiSer team traveled to the beach of Noordwijk where they took part in an exercise of power kiting. Although there wasn’t a too strong wind, the weather was great. After the intensive exercise, colleagues and associates came together for drinks and dinner at the Branding Beach Club. We wanted to thank all FiSer team members for the fun and memorable weekend!

We have added a new member to the FiSer team Senne Achterberg. Senne is a consultant with extensive experience in Change Management, Lean Management and Organisational Development. His strong communication and interpersonal skills enable him to quickly connect the dots and they also help him to communicate with people at all levels across an organisation. He delivers what is needed and when it is needed. Senne is a team player who knows when to lead and when to follow. Complex situations and challenges motivate him and resolves issues with a can-do mentality, a positive attitude and with a desire to continuously develop. Before joining FiSer Consulting, Senne has build up extensive knowledge as a Change Manager at the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS). During his time at RBS he integrated business departments, enabled design and implementation of the Target Operating Model and he was part of a global strategical program within Global Transaction Services (GTS). Senne has obtained a Master of Arts in History at Leiden University. Apart from his Master’s Degree, he has completed several courses including LEAN Management, AGILE Foundation and a MBA module at Nyenrode University.

As the FiSer team continues to grow, so does the need for a suitable office location that can keep up with this growth. Therefore, we are happy to announce that we moved FiSer’s headquarters. As of now, you will be able to find us at Herikerbergweg 292 – 342, 1101 CT in Amsterdam.

On Thursday February 8th, FiSer Consulting organised the Innovation event. The event gathered professionals from the finance and banking industry including consultants, Fintech accelerators and large financial institutions. The topics that were discussed included best practices for implementing Artificial Intelligence, dealing with PSD2 challenges and initiatives to evolve to a more digital corporate culture. All speakers agreed that transformation practices in financial services are inevitable and that, in order to achieve success in innovation, businesses must be willing to transform their technological operations.
